Cameo

Just found this cameo of little baby me in a box of old coins my dad collected. It’s something I remember seeing throughout childhood, and happily surprised to find amongst the few of my father’s things we still have, jingling between a flattened penny, buffalo nickels, and commemorative quarters.

I told a friend once that my father never said “I love you” to me and the friend said, “Maybe he whispered it to when you were sleeping.”

This is like that.
